A fifth restaurant to open at Shandrani Resort & Spa on 22 December 2008

In line with its policy of continuing upgrading, Shandrani Resort & Spa will launch a
new restaurant on 22 December 2008, in time for the arrival of prime season guests.
The new restaurant adds even more value to the exclusive « Serenity plus » concept.
Construction starts on the 03 November 2008.

1/ Launch of the new restaurant

The fifth restaurant will be built within the existing Sirius restaurant, in the area
facing the pool which previously accommodated the buffet displays for breakfast.
Construction works will require the temporary closure of the Sirius restaurant.
Alternative solutions have already been made by the hotel, as described in section 2
below. Both Le Sirius and the new restaurant will open on 22 December 2008.

Information regarding the future restaurant

• Thai restaurant (the restaurant’s name will be advised later)
• Open for dinners
• Seats 80
• Chef of Thai nationality (we will send you the Chef’s résumé as soon as possible)
• The restaurant will have a separate entrance to that of Sirius, set within a typical Thai garden
• The décor will blend ethnic elements and trendy decor to create discreet elegance and Zen ambiance
• A huge elephant feature (2m10) will be the centrepiece of the restaurant
• Buddha statues will decorate the stone niches

• The new furniture will be a rich blend of rattan and velvet
• New lighting effects will enhance the ambience
• A modern departure from traditional folding screens will separate the future restaurant from the Sirius
• The restaurant will open onto a terrace and garden facing the sea

- A wider choice : a 5th restaurant to add to Shandrani’s “Serenity plus” concept
2/ Alternatives throughout the works
To ensure optimum comfort, flexibility and choice to clients, Shandrani Resort & Spa
has implemented alternatives to ensure that clients have a choice of 4 restaurants at all
times.

For dinner

• A beach restaurant will be created in front of Le Sirius
• Tables will be set on the sand, beneath “tents” (in the event of rain),
• opposite the lagoon
• Seats 60
• Open exclusively for dinners
• Set « beach » menu, no « A la Carte »

For lunch
The Porto Vecchio will open for lunch

IMPORTANT : Only the interior of the current Sirius restaurant will be closed
while works last. Guests will still have access to the pool, bar and terrace at all
times.
The Chef’s résumé, the restaurant’s menu as well as press release describing the
restaurant will be issued when works are in progress.
