Just over an hour from the airport, 10 minutes from Grand Baie, and 20 minutes from Port Louis, Trou aux Biches has been a favourite on the international travel scene for decades. In rebuilding what is now the most modern of Mauritius’ hotels, architects worked skilfully to retain the village charm and atmosphere of the original resort, preserving the resort’s gardens and water features as the centrepiece. Rather than just one main pool, there are now seven large pools scatted throughout the gardens with the accommodation centred around these. In addition, there are over 90 Beachfront Suites, Senior Suites, and Villas, all with their own pools.
The six restaurants at Trou aux Biches are located on the beach front or adjacent to the beach front pools. At three of the restaurants chefs serve the very best of international cuisine. Three other specialty restaurants create delicacies from India, Thailand and Italy.
Trou aux Biches’ Spa by Clarins echoes the resort’s authentic charm. Its individual thatched pavilions, tucked away amidst palm trees and exotic plants, provide an instant sense of elegance and tropical sophistication. A tranquil reflecting pool is at the heart of the spa.
As with all Beachcomber hotels, sport abounds! There is a huge selection of water sports, including free water-skiing. On shore the Head Tennis Academy courts and access to the state-of-the-art gym are available at no charge.
A Bob Marlin Miniclub, with its own restaurant, will look after the needs of children aged from 3 to 12 years. A vibrant ‘Teens Club’ operates during selected holiday periods.

Bob Marlin Mini Club & Teen's Club
Like all Beachcomber hotels, the Trou aux Biches offers a free mini-club providing a range of facilities that will appeal to your children. The mini-club welcomes children aged 3 – 12 years and is open from 0900 – 2300, 7 days a week.

Spa
Trou aux Biches’ spa echoes the resort’s tropical feel and authentic charm. Individual thatched pavilions are set amongst the palm trees and exotic plants to create a relaxing atmosphere. There is the choice of cool comfortable air-conditioned indoor pavilions or thatched roof under shade outdoor pavilions. A large reflective pool forms the centre of the spa and provides the perfect place to relax before or after your treatment.
The Spa by Clarins includes 17 Massage cabins, a balneotherapy room, an algotherapy room, an Avurvedic room, 2 saunas and 2 hammams.

The Trou Aux Biches will have 6 floodlit tennis courts with a Head Tennis Academy. Other land sports will include table tennis, beach volleyball, bocciball and mountain biking.

Water Sports
Trou Aux Biches has one of the best beaches on the island making it ideal for a host of water sports including waterskiing, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, pedal boats, snorkelling and glass bottom boats.
Deep Sea Fishing
Mauritius is one of the best places for big game fishing and boats are easily accessible from Trou Aux Biches.
Diving
The hotel has its own dive centre offering scuba diving as well as offering numerous dive courses.

Restaurants & Bars
Meal Plan: Breakfast and evening meal (Bed and breakfast if staying in one of the superb villas). Dinner is either buffet or daily Chef's Menu, in selected restaurants only, with á la carte dishes available at a supplement. Occasionally a restaurant may close for a group booking or during Low Season.
Dress Code: During the day the dress code is casual, however, during the evening the restaurants prefer guests to be smart-casual so shirts and trousers for the men.
Non-Smoking Policy: Each restaurant features a smoking area and non-smoking section. Smoking will, however, be permitted in all bars.

Open 7 days a week L'Oasis overlooks the beach and sea serving international cuisine with live cooking stations. Open 07:30 - 10:00 for breakfast, 12:30 - 14:30 for lunch and 19:00 - 22:00 for dinner. Themed buffets. Seats 350.
Le Deck
Beach restaurant serving seafood specialities. Open 12:00 - 15:00 for á la carte lunch and 19:00 - 22:00 for dinner (half board & chef's daily menu). Seats 100.
Blue Ginger
Trou Aux Biches' Thai restaurant. Open 6 days a week for dinner (chef's daily menu) 19:00 - 22:00. Available for guests 12 years and over. Seats 80.
Mahiya
Indian restaurant. Open 6 days a week for dinner (chef's daily menu) 19:00 - 22:00. Available for guests 12 years and over. Seats 60.
La Caravelle
International gastronomic restaurant. Open for breakfast 07:30 - 10:00, á la carte lunch 12:30 - 15:00 and dinner (á la carte and chef's daily menu) 19:00 - 22:00. Seats 120.
Il Corallo
Italian restaurant open 6 days a week for á la carte and chef's daily menu dinner from 19:00 - 22:00. Seats 80.
Bars
L’Oasis Bar
The main bar overlooking the swimming pool and lagoon, specializing in tropical cocktails. Open from 10:00 to 01:00. Tea, coffee and pancakes are served from 15:30 to 17:00.
Caravelle Bar
Located close to the beach, the perfect place to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets on the island. Here you can enjoy a selection of house-special rum cocktails, cigars and champagne. Open from 10:00 to 01:00.
Spa
As you enter the Spa’s tropical garden, you immediately relax as your mind and body react to the serenity of your surrounds. The individual thatched pavilions, tucked away amidst palm trees and exotic plants, are designed to blend the outdoors with indoors. Some cabins provide the cool comfort of air-conditioned interiors while others provide the optimum natural experience under the shade of thatched roofs. Whether you have indulged in a Shiatsu or Thai massage, balneotherapy or algotherapy, afterwards lounge by the placid waters of the reflecting pool with a specialty tea or cooling juice.
