Shandrani Resort & Spa maintains its status as an innovator being the only 5 star Fully Inclusive resort in Mauritius where there are no bills to sign! This means that ‘extras’ at the end of your stay are virtually non-existent.

Located just ten minutes from the airport and forty five minutes from Port Louis, Shandrani is set on its own peninsula and features three beaches, two pools, five restaurants, and a plethora of activities for guests to enjoy.

 

The elegantly furnished rooms, suites and apartments feature stylish bathrooms. All have a private balcony or terrace and face the sparkling lagoon.

 

All five restaurants are available on a fully inclusive basis. In addition to the main international restaurant, there are restaurants that specialise in seafood, Thai and Italian cuisine.

 

The resort’s sports facilities are first rate with water and land sports included at no extra charge. Guests can play golf (nine hole Pitch & Putt), enjoy tennis, workout at the gym, take a bicycle ride, go snorkelling, water-skiing, or windsurfing.

 

The stunning Spa and Wellness Centres by Clarins offer a wide range of pampering treatments and a selection of massages, with a complimentary introductory massage given to guests staying four or more nights.

 

Specialist activities, like the Shandrani Sailing Club, Scuba Diving Centre and the Sport & Nature program are available at an extra charge. Guests can also hire the hotel’s speedboat or take a catamaran trip along the east coast.

Shandrani is located on the south coast at Blue Bay on a sheltered peninsula and offers a choice of three different beaches. It is well positioned near the airport.

Shandrani Sailing School - Included in Serenity Plus

Guests of Shandrani can participate in the unique and certified Shandrani Sailing School program absolutely free. The course is designed to teach guests the necessary skills required for the various sailing craft and the course is fully certified. Guests receive an internationally recognised certificate after successful completion of the course.

 

Golf

Guests of Shandrani are invited to use the chip and putt 9 hole course at the hotel or the spectacular 18 hole championship course at the Paradis hotel (approximately 1hr 10mins drive). A minimal green fee is applicable at the Paradis Course.

Room Categories

Superior Rooms/Superior Rooms Beachfront Superior rooms have an open plan design and feature a sunken floor for the bedroom and sitting area and a step up to the bathroom. They are approximately 50 square metres and have a terrace or balcony that faces the sea. Superior rooms are situated on ground, first and second floor levels. Deluxe Rooms These beautifully appointed rooms overlook Blue Bay and have a fresh modern designed with elegant tropical décor. Deluxe Rooms are approximately 56 square metres and have a large bedroom with lounge area, dressing room, terrace or balcony. Deluxe rooms are a great option for families as they can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children. Family Apartments Family apartments have two bedrooms and a living area to offer greater space and comfort for families. They are approximately 78 square metres, similar in design to the deluxe rooms, and feature two rooms both with television and en-suite bathroom. The parent's room has a dressing area with walk in storage, and a large terrace overlooking the lagoon. The children's bedroom is smaller and includes two bunk style beds and a stowaway bed. Senior Suites With their own private section of beach, these two enormous suites offer a true touch of luxury in the tropics. The two senior suites are located on the first floor and have direct access to the beach via a private staircase. They include a large bedroom and lounge room, a spacious and elegant bathroom with water views, and a large balcony with stunning views over Blue Bay. Spa & Wellness Centre

 

Enjoy your complimentary massage* at the Wellness Centre by Clarins, which features 20 cabins set around a stunning pool and relaxation area. Each of the individual cabins is constructed from volcanic rock, thatch and wood and features an outdoor shower in the cabin's private garden.

 

You will be given a special menu of massages from which to chose. Other massages are available at additional cost.

 

More specialised treatments, such as balneotheraphy, affusion showers, Ayurvedic and beauty treatments, are available at the exotic Spa by Clarins
