BEACHCOMBER KIDS - UP TO 17 YEARS
While your teenagers may not like to be called kids, you will enjoy the fact that, when it comes to price, we treat them like kids! Beachcomber recognises the importance of family holidays and offers special rates for kid’s right up to the age of 17 years.
Bonus - Kids Stay Free: Kids up to 17 years sharing a room with two adults between 18 April and 08 October 2012 will receive free accommodation on a breakfast and dinner basis (excludes family apartments).
Free Miniclub for Kids 3 - 12yrs
All Beachcomber hotels have a free Bob Marlin Miniclub which is open from 10am until late (times vary between hotels), so both you and the kids have a great time and you get to relax! Our young guests are grouped by age so appropriate activities can be organised.
The miniclub gives kids the opportunity to participate in cultural, sporting and educational activities, keeping the emphasis on fun. This includes learning new sports like water-skiing and tennis, as well as enjoying treasure hunts and beach games. Glass-bottom boat trips and learning to dance the Mauritian Sega are highlights during a stay that overflows with holiday happiness. Away from organised activities you and the kids will all enjoy the crystal clear lagoons with gentle sloping beaches - ideal for children to paddle and splash. All of our hotels have free land and water sports which are sure to keep active children entertained.
Family-Friendly Accommodation
Choosing the right accommodation is the key to your family’s holiday enjoyment. Beachcomber offers an extensive range of rooms, suites and apartments which will suit families with anything from one to five children. For really big families or families travelling together, there are apartments that inter-connect with rooms and suites.
Babysitting
This can be arranged for a small fee at all Beachcomber hotels. Babysitters are screened thoroughly and employed by the hotels on an on-going basis, giving you peace of mind that your children are being looked after by professionals.
This allows you to enjoy the entertainment or get away for a quiet meal or romantic evening while the kids are looked after by caring staff. Kids under three can also attend the free miniclub if they have a babysitter.
Inter-connecting Rooms
Priority for inter-connecting rooms is given to families with young children. These are available at all Beachcomber hotels, except Le Canonnier where there is a large number of duplex rooms and family apartments.
More Than One Child in a Room
For family convenience the Superior ground floor and Deluxe rooms at Le Victoria, and the Deluxe Rooms at Shandrani Resort & Spa, can accommodate two adults and two children up to 17 years.
Family Apartments and Family Suites
Shandrani, Trou Aux Biches, Le Victoria, Le Canonnier and Le Mauricia have a fantastic selection of spacious two bedroom Family Apartments. Two bedroom Suites are available at Royal Palm, Dinarobin, Paradis and Shandrani resorts. Family Apartments and Family Suites can accommodate two adults and up to three children.
Beach Villas
For the ultimate family holiday, the Paradis offers 12 luxury Executive Villas with three bedrooms and 1 Presidential Villa, with four bedrooms, all located on the spectacular beach at the Paradis Hotel. These exclusive villas have a kitchen, indoor bathrooms, indoor/outdoor showers, huge lounge with amazing sea views, an outside terrace and deck with day bed, couch and dining area, beach access and a barbecue. Each Villa is serviced by a personal valet and has its own Club Car.
Pool Villas
At Trou aux Biches Resort & Spa there are 10 two bedroom and 17 three bedroom Pool Villas, perfect for the family holiday or friends travelling together. The Pool Villas feature a fully functional kitchen with modern appliances; spacious bedrooms, with the main bedroom having an en-suite bathroom with indoor/outdoor shower and bath; a private garden with spices for cooking; plunge pool surrounded by wooden decking and barbecue area. Inside the villas, you will find the latest in appliances including a Hi-Fi stereo, wide screen TV and media hub. Valet service is provided with each Pool Villa.
Dining With Children
Children’s meals and menus, along with early dining times for younger ones, are available at all Beachcomber hotels. Some restaurants feature their own kids’ sections, with mini tables and chairs and menus to match. Most miniclubs are open from 10am until late in the evening and children are welcome to stay for both lunch and dinner (lunch at extra charge for those not on all inclusive packages), or kids are free to dine with their parents at any time and return to the miniclub afterwards.
