Unlike Mauritius, Reunion is a part of France, and has inherited
many French attributes, but with a unique island style. Her most
outstanding natural features are “The Cirques” – three magnificent
amphitheatres (Mafate, Salazie and Cilaos). The spectacular scenery of
the Cirques, and its abundance of excellent hiking trails, make this a
paradise for both trekkers and sightseers. The highest mountain peak,
Piton des Neiges, is 3069 metres. To the east of the Cirques is Piton
de la Fournaise, an active volcano which is spectacular from the air
and even more so when approached on foot. One of the most breathtaking
ways to see Reunion is by helicopter. Surfing is popular, with an
excellent wave at St Leu. Being just a short flight from Mauritius,
Reunion is the perfect double-destination option.
Day 1 - Mauritius
Arrive in Mauritius and transfer to the Shandrani Hotel for two nights.

Day 3 – Reunion
Depart to the airport and Reunion Island for four nights. Your hotel,
Villas du Lagon, is in the seaside village of St Gilles. We suggest a
visit to Cilaos, the volcano and the capital, St Denis. Book a tour,
hire a car or take a helicopter flight to discover this amazing island.

Day 7 – Mauritius
Depart to Mauritius and Le Mauricia resort for seven nights. Breakfast,
dinner and most sports are included. Visit Port Louis and Grand Baie,
or take a tour and explore the island’s beauty. Le Mauricia is just two
minutes walk from boutiques, markets and shops.

Day 14 - Transfer to Mauritius airport for your departure.
