9 days & 8 nights Cape Town to Johannesburg luxury adventure tour

South Africa is a world in one country with its spectacular scenery and amazing predators complementing the pride of its people. This luxury tour offers the very best of adventures including cage diving with great white sharks, elephant back safaris and getting up close with cheetahs and other wildlife. There is also time to relax by the lodge pool, sip a fine wine and learn about the culture and history of this beautiful country.

Day 1 - Cape Town and Table Mountain
On arrival at Cape Town transfer to your hotel located on the historic V & A Waterfront, home to shops, restaurants and the harbour. In the afternoon enjoy a city tour of Cape Town and Table Mountain (weather permitting).

Day 2 - Shark Cage Dive
Depart early for your full day Great White Shark cage diving tour. Travel via the scenic route to Gansbaai and enjoy breakfast at ‘The Great White House’ where the dive master will give a full briefing of the day’s procedures. Anchor at Dyer Island and Geyser Rock, which boasts a large Cape Fur Seal colony and watch the crew using chum lure the sharks to the boat. The cage is lowered into the water when the first shark arrives and your real adventure begins. A picnic lunch is served onboard before returning to Cape Town.

Day 3 - Wine Tasting, Cheetah and Eagles
Depart Cape Town and travel to the magnificent Winelands. You stop at the Spier Wine Estate which also boasts an animal retreat. Here you can enjoy wine tasting and participate in the Cheetah Outreach Program. Spier is home to the Eagle Encounters Raptor Rehabilitation Centre where you will see how ancient falconry techniques are used to train these birds to hunt. After lunch at the winery, drive to Franschhoek.

Day 4 - Sabi Sabi Game Reserve
Today you fly to Kruger (flight not included) for your next two nights at Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve. Sabi Sabi is situated in the world-renowned 65,000 hectare Sabi Sand Game Reserve, in the south-western section of the Kruger National Park. Morning and evening game drives are conducted in luxury open Land Rovers. For real adventure morning bush walks are conducted in
the reserve.

Day 6 - Camp Jabulani
Elephant-Back Safari
Depart after a morning game drive, travelling north to Camp Jabulani in Limpopo province. This luxury camp offers elephant-back Safaris, an unforgettable wildlife experience. Camp Jabulani offers the only night safari on elephant back in the world! Under the stars, amidst the sounds of the night dwellers, each guest is able to create their own experience using battery-powered spotlights to light up this captivating world of darkens.

Day 8 - Johannesburg
Transfer to the airport for you flight to Johannesburg (flight not included). Spend the evening at the luxurious D’Oreale Grande Hotel which forms part of Emperor’s Palace, a sensational resort and casino complex that combines timeless classical elegance with
modern entertainment.

Day 9 - Cheetah Centre and Pretoria
After breakfast transfer to De Wildt Cheetah and Wildlife Centre, renowned for its breeding success of rare and endangered species. The tour will include an open game drive of the reserve followed by the option to have a photo taken with an Ambassador Cheetah, which was hand-raised. Enjoy a city tour and lunch in Pretoria, the capital city of South Africa, before returning to Johannesburg airport.
