Day 1 - Cape Town to Oudtshoorn
Travel via Du Toit’s Kloof Pass to Worcester and traverse the famous Cape Route 62, passing through the wine town of Robertson. Visit Barrydale and Calitzdorp, where the true diversity of landscapes is highlighted through the ever-changing semi-desert areas. After arrival in Oudtshoorn, visit an ostrich farm for a guided tour before arriving at your deluxe country hotel. Enjoy an exquisite dinner served in the elegant dining room famous for its ostrich fare and fine wines.

Day 2 - Cango, Knysna and Tsala
After breakfast, you have a guided tour of the stalactites and stalagmites at the world famous Cango Caves. Travel over the Outeniqua Pass, named by the Khoi people and meaning ‘land of honey’, to George and on to South Africa’s ‘Oyster Capital’, Knysna, to arrive at the ‘millionaires playground’ of Plettenberg Bay. of the magnificent indigenous forests of Tsitsikamma.

Day 3 - Plettenberg Bay Sea Safari
Drive to Plettenberg Bay for an ocean safari where you will see seals, dolphins and whales (in season). Then take a short drive to pristine Keurbooms Beach before returning to Tsala..

Day 4 - Storms River & Shamwari
Your journey now takes you through Nature’s Valley and across the Storms River Bridge, site of the world’s highest bungee jump. Travel via Port Elizabeth to the malaria-free, award winning Shamwari Private Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Steeped in settler history and dating back to a time when game roamed freely, the reserve boasts five ecosystems that support many forms of plant, animal and bird life. Enjoy a game drive with your ranger before returning to the lodge for dinner.

Day 5 - Shamwari and departure
After an early morning game activity, travel to Port Elizabeth. End of tour.
