Few places on earth can rival the game experiences to be had in Kenya, especially in the Masai Mara. This safari takes you to the foothills of Africa’s tallest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, to one of the few private concessions by the Amboseli National Park, and finally into the Masai Mara.

Day 1 - Nairobi Stop-over
On arrival in Nairobi transfer to your accommodation.

Day 2 - Satao Elerai, Amboseli
Fly from Nairobi to Satao Elerai airstrip. Satao Elerai is the most exclusive lodge in Amboseli, set on one of the few private concessions in Kenya, with views over Amboseli National Park in one direction and Mt Kilimanjaro in the other. Being private, your activities can include morning, afternoon and evening game drives. A Kilimanjaro sundowner is an evening highlight.

Day 3 - Masai Village, Amboseli
Start the day with an early morning game walk or game drive followed by breakfast. After breakfast travel to Amboseli National Park, renowned for its elephant projects, to enjoy a game drive and a picnic lunch. In the afternoon take a drive to the Masai community for a true Masai experience. Your sundowners today are followed by a night game drive.

Day 4 - Governor’s Camp
After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Masai Mara via Nairobi. On arrival your transfer is turned into a game drive that will take you to Governor’s Camp, one of the few camps actually located inside the reserve. An afternoon game drive follows lunch at the camp.

Day 5 - Masai Mara Game Viewing
On your morning drive you will be served a sumptuous bush breakfast. The whole day is spent observing the animals of the Masai Mara, famous for its large concentration of game. This relatively small park (1510 km²) has earned its reputation as the most prolific game viewing spot in Africa, and is essentially the northern continuation of Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Dinner tonight is also served in the bush.

Day 6 - Masai Mara Game Viewing
Today you can start with a true game experience - a two hour game walk with armed ranger, getting up close to some of the Mara’s wildlife (additional cost). Later, visit a local Masai Village.

Day 7 - Nairobi
Take an early morning game drive before returning to the camp for breakfast. Lunch is followed by your transfer to connect with your flight to Nairobi.

Day 8 - Departure
After breakfast transfer to airport for return flight.
