Camp Jabulani
Camp Jabulani represents the epitome of style, luxury, gastronomic excellence and warm hospitality. But at the heart of this five-star operation lies a cause far greater than its tangible elements. This camp was conceptualised and created for one purpose. To support and sustain thirteen elephants who by the hand of fate had found themselves in the custody of wildlife visionary, Lente Roode (founder and owner of the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre). Guests are able to interact with the elephants during daily elephant-back safaris (Camp Jabulani is the only property in the world that offers a night safari). Other activities include game drives with experienced rangers, guided walks and visits to the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre. The camp is an intimate one, with only 6 luxurious suites. Each spacious unit has a private plunge pool, glass enclosed shower with a view of the surrounding vegetation, a separate lounge area and fireplace.
