Day 1 - Pom Pom Camp, Okavango
Transfer by light aircraft from Maun Airport to Pom Pom Airstrip. Enjoy two nights at Pom Pom in a twin tent with ensuite facilities on full board basis, including gameviewing, meals and drinks. Pom Pom is located in the heart of the Okavango in a private concession to the west of the Moremi Game Reserve. Apart from great scenery Pom Pom offers land activities (60%) and water activities (40%) including day and night game drives, nature walks in the area, fishing, boat trips (water levels permitting) and mokoro excursions.
Day 3 - Xakanaxa Camp, Moremi
Transfer by light aircraft from Pom Pom Airstrip to Xakanaxa Airstrip. Enjoy two nights at Xakanaxa Camp in a standard tent with ensuite facilities on a full board basis with meals, drinks and gameviewing included. Set in the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve, rated one of the finest game viewing areas in Africa, Xakanaxa Camp has one of the best locations in Botswana and is one of
the few lodges that offers a true year round land and water experience. Track great herds on extensive safaris by open Land Rover, by powerboat or serene dugout canoe in the company
of professional rangers.
Day 5 - Elephant Valley Lodge, Kasane Forest Reserve
After your flight from Xakanaxa airstrip to Kasane Airport you are taken by an open safari vehicle to Elephant Valley Lodge. Your safari experience includes a morning boat cruise on the Chobe River as well as scheduled game drive activities. After breakfast relax at the pool or watch game at the waterhole from the viewing hide or the main deck. Your accommodation is in twin share tents and meals, local brand drinks and laundry are all included.
Day 7 - Victoria Falls ‘The Smoke that Thunders’
Today you travel from Elephant Valley Lodge to Victoria Falls where you will stay two nights at The Kingdom Hotel. You will be in a standard room with en suite bathroom. After a good night’s sleep you have a guided visit to one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Victoria Falls. Starting at Livingstone’s statue and Devil’s Cataract, you proceed through the rainforest to Danger Point. The walk is 3km and there are many spectacular viewpoints along the way. Be sure to take a raincoat or umbrella with you as the mist from the Falls can be a heavy rain! On the final evening of your safari you will enjoy a leisurely sunset cruise, with sundowners, on the tranquil waters of the fabulous Zambezi river.
Day 9 - Departure
Transfer to Victoria Falls Airport for your departure.
